Latest Pops

I haven't posted in a while so I thought I would add some pictures of cake pops I have done over the past few months.  Some day I will learn how to take better pictures.

Enjoy!

My First Dessert Table!

I was a host for a baby shower honoring my friend Emily and I got to create my first dessert table for the event. It was really fun. I wanted to create something without a theme with an old fashion look to it. I was happy with it and I can't wait to do another one!

Piper's Abby Cadabby Cake

When my friend Shannon asked me to do an Abby Cadabby cake for her little girl's (sweet little Piper) birthday, I wasn't sure who she was talking about. I looked her up and wondered if I could pull it off. Luckily, it worked out. I used a new buttercream recipe for this one and it is amazing! Swiss vanilla buttercream...yum! Happy Birthday Piper!

Bailey's Birthday Cake

I made a birthday cake for my sister-in-law, Bailey, and took it on our trip to Blue Ridge for the celebration. I didn't have much time to do something really creative, as I had to do another cake the same day. I decided to try the rosette cake (as seen by many on Pinterest). It was really easy and didn't take long at all. I made a salted caramel buttercream and I torted and filled the layers with homemade caramel sauce. It was super yummy!

Happy Birthday Stella!!

I had the honor of making little Miss Stella Jones' birthday cake. Pinwheels were the theme! I love it! My good friend, Jan (Stella's mom), taught me how to make pinwheels, so I thought I would try it with marshmallow fondant. I loved how it turned out. Happy birthday sweet little Stella. We love you!

Owl Cake

My friend Tiffany's little girl, Laine, turned 1 and had an owl themed birthday party. I LOVE the owl theme!! I attempted to create the owl from her invitation with modeling chocolate and marshmallow fondant. This is my first cake after a short break due to foot surgery. I am so happy to be baking again!

Happy Birthday Laine!

Twin Cakes!

I did two cakes last weekend for a set of twins birthday party. It was very short notice so I couldn't get as creative as I would have liked. They turned out very cute though. They are pretty much the same as the Sadie cake, but a little different. The mother of the twins wrote me a very nice email saying that they were delicious and there was not one piece left!
